MISSION

At the Human Liberation and Balance Institute, we understand that balance is the key to a thriving and sustainable future. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower individuals and communities to realign with the biological, ecological, and social systems that support well-being. By exposing the root causes of disconnection, exploitation, and systemic harm, we provide the knowledge and tools needed to reclaim health, restore justice, and co-create a world where people and the planet thrive in harmony.

VISION

A liberated and sustainable world where humanity thrives in harmony with nature, oppressive systems are dismantled, and every individual has the opportunity to achieve balance, self-realization, and meaningful connection.

Cindy Lamb, LCSW, LSCSW, CCTP

From an early age, I felt an undeniable calling to serve others—a deep pull toward easing pain, offering support, and fostering healing. This innate drive became the foundation of my life’s work. My educational journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education and continued with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas.

For over two decades, I have dedicated my career to guiding others through their most vulnerable moments, providing compassion and wisdom in times of profound loss, trauma, and transition. As a private practitioner, I have helped clients uncover their inner strength and resilience, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. My passion for alleviating suffering and illuminating pathways to healing fuels my work every day.

The Human Liberation and Balance Institute (HLBI) is the culmination of my clinical experience, research, and personal growth. Through HLBI, I integrate expertise in mental health, trauma, human development, complex systems theory, social-emotional learning (SEL), and attachment to create transformative programming and services that empower both individuals and communities.

HLBI’s mission is to raise awareness of the interconnected factors driving personal and collective suffering and to provide actionable strategies for creating a healthier, more sustainable future—for humanity and our planet—by equipping people with the essential knowledge and tools for holistic health, resilience, and well-being.

I am profoundly grateful for the privileges that have shaped my journey—a safe and loving upbringing, access to education, and the opportunity to serve others. These experiences have given me the foundation to guide people toward healing, transformation, and empowerment, and to contribute to a world where all can thrive.
