Experience is Multidimentional
Human experience is never confined to a single thought, emotion, behavior, or event. Every moment of our lives is shaped through multiple, interacting dimensions of experience that continually influence one another.
We often describe experience in separate parts—the body, emotions, thoughts, relationships, identity, or spirit—but life is not lived in pieces. These dimensions are continually communicating, influencing one another, and creating the experience of being human.
The Atlas separates them so we can become more curious about how they work together.
Experience Is Always Unfolding
No single moment, emotion, thought, or relationship tells the whole story.
Our experiences are continually shaped through our relationships with ourselves, one another, and the world around us. As those relationships evolve, so too does our experience.
The Atlas invites us to become more curious about experience as a source of information. Through that curiosity, we begin to recognize ourselves, one another, and the relationships shaping our lives with greater clarity and compassion.
