Hi, I’m Cindy, founder of the Human Liberation & Balance Institute (HLBI), therapist, systems thinker, and fellow human who knows what it’s like to live inside the storm of anxiety.
I created this guide as a professional resource and as someone who has personally navigated panic attacks, racing thoughts, and the exhausting loops of fear and control.
For years, I believed anxiety was a personal flaw, until I learned the truth: anxiety is part of how the brain tries to protect us, and we can learn to work with it, not against it.
Through my own healing and in my work with clients, I’ve seen how powerful it is when we understand our nervous system, learn compassionate practices, and reclaim our sense of agency.
